1. Craft Coffee – Craft Coffee is a great present for the coffee drinker in your life. You know that person who owns a french press and a coffee grinder? That person. It is a subscription service that sends curated coffee beans to your door step every month. It costs $25 a month, or $20/month if you sign up for a full year. Each box contains 12 oz of the coffee-of-the-month, information on the coffee’s flavor notes, and brewing tips. If you treat your coffee like wine, then this is for you.

2. Bespoke Post – This is another subscription program; however, this one is marketed towards men. Valentine’s Day is coming up soon and this would a be a great gift for the man in your life! Prices are $45/month or $55 for just one box. Each box contains curated “manly” poducts. Past boxes have included cigars, shaving supplies, men’s accessories and a salt slab to cook meat on. I think this box would bring out the “Ron Swanson” in every man.

3. Spring Community Event – $15 on Jan 30th . I wrote about Sprig in a past post. They are throwing a community event where you can meet with the chefs who make the meals for Sprig. They also be serving healthy appetizers and drinks made by the Sprig chefs!

4. Get Fixed – A new startup that will contest those pesky little parking tickets for you. The fine people at Fixed will contest the parking ticket on your behalf; if they get the ticket dismissed you pay them  25% of the fine. If the ticket sticks, then you pay no fee to Fixed and unfortunately you will have to pay the parking fine. This is a godsend for those who can’t take time off from work to challenge parking tickets. So far, it is only available in SF.
